Your Community Health Physiotherapists have an advanced understanding of how the body moves and what keeps it from moving well. Our staff understand the issues you and your family may face at different times in your life and are experienced in working with you to find solutions.
Physiotherapy services are conveniently available at our wulempuri barring (East Reservoir), wulempuri dhumba (Northcote) and balit wurun (PANCH) health centres and are available to everyone.
Adults
Physiotherapy can assist with a number of issues including musculoskeletal problems, pain, balance and mobility. Following assessment at an individual appointment, evidence based treatment will focus on self management through exercise and education and may include some localised therapy and referral to groups.

Women and children
We support pregnant and post-natal women with musculoskeletal problems and can provide referral to community exercise groups.
We support children 0-12 years old where there are concerns about:
- Head shape and neck movements
- Delayed movement skills such as sitting and walking
- Abnormal walking including toe walking and in-toeing
- Balance, strength or coordination
- Injury or pain.

For people living with disability
We offer experienced and in-depth support for people living with disability, including those funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Fees
We are pleased to offer free or low cost services to many clients. Fees are assessed based on income or funding eligibility. See our Fees Policy for more information or talk to your Physiotherapist.
